Hi all, hope we're all safe.

I've gone and got myself a Mavic Mini, love it!! The only issue I seemed to have run into is when I'm exporting photos from Lightroom CC and transfer them over to my phone, they look really pixelated.
Is there a specific resolution I need to be using or maybe Pixels Per Inch?

So far what I've seen on the web is 1200x720 w/ 300ppi ... This doesn't fix the issue and I can't seem to find anything else out there ... this might be something real simple and I'm just being daft but, if anyone has the answer I would be eternally grateful aha

Thank You!

Check your output settings in LR. LR allows you to set the size of your exported .jpg. Maybe you have it set very small. Since you are using LR, be sure to shoot in RAW to get the most out of your editing. Big files, but big rewards in post.

When you open the photos in lightroom do they look OK? It might be picking up a thumbnail image rather than the full resolution photo.

Did you realise you can plug the drone directly in to a PC too and transfer that way? You do need some juice in your drone battery and have it powered on but don't need the propellers spinning.

Another suggestion is to move the .jpgs to your computer and directly upload to your phone and bypass LR. This will of course just give you the SOC image, but it should be easy and painless.

Welcome to the forum @JordanLeeDigital. The mini has a great gimbal and camera for the price but unfortunately the mini doesn't record RAW to the card, only JPGs.
Yes checking the LR export settings is important.

Hey! I did think 1200x720 was too small, what resolution would you recommend? I do shoot RAW with my camera but didn't even think about the drone having that capability... will change that immediately! Thank you!

Hey! Yes, they look perfect in Lightroom, great quality, takes the colours nicely, It's only by the time I have exported it and loaded it on my phone screen they look a little naff.

I didn't know i could do it straight from the drone, this is brilliant, thanks so much for the tip! :)

Cheers for tip! I will most likely do this on the move if I'm wanting to post it to IG sooner rather than later ... thank you!

Thanks a bunch! Happy to be here. If it doesn't record in RAW does it shoot images in RAW?
Do you have any tips or guidance for the export resolution? What would you most typically use yourself?
