Need ideas

I have a Nexus 6P dedicated to my Mavic, but from time to time in the case the phone will be turned on, by the button being pressed, I assume, does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this, other than taking it out of the case?

You may need to carve a notch in it to prevent it from being pressed.
