Neewer Filters Not Fitting : Solved

This Neewer ND32/PL filter, out of the box, would not fit the MP.
The inside steel strip had its ends over lapped slightly.
Dont remove the strip. Hold one side of the strip w/ thumb and forefinger
and use the tip of an exacto knife to pull back the other end.
The two ends must butt each other.
To push filter on, start w/ the butt ends side first.

Thank you for the information. I returned some Neewer filters because they were fitting too tight on my MPP lens. I purchased some Freewells and had the same problem. I took your advice and trimmed the strip and was able to install it and get it off again. The problem I did have is that I distorted the strip (out of round now) therefore I still have difficulty using it. it is still better then before. it was unusable until I made the adjustment.
