Another thing you will need to do is overcome Goggle strain! It is something that happens to everyone in FPV. You may feel nauseous or a little dizzy at first! To overcome this you just need to keep at it! also use a chair. it didnt take me to long to overcome it, about 6 flights. It takes others many hours. The younger you are the less it bothers you starting out.

I am still shaking... I bought an Avata 2 and have just flown it around the local school field. Just using the Motion Controller, to keep it easy. Far Out, that was FUN
Zooming along 50cm from the ground (seems faster then), going through the goals, rapid turns, climb to 100m then dive back towards me...
AND, I just realised that the whole time I was in 'Normal' mode. It will go faster! I am hooked.
