Just purchased a "new" battery from eBay, just because I checked charge cycles before doing anything. It shows 4 charge cycles. Should a new battery show previous charge cycles? Thanks

Not the ones I got and I would say they should have been tested by a few cycles and then the counter cleared by DJI.

No. A battery showing 4 cycles means it was most likely charged at least 8 times.

It actually has been charged 5 times.
It most likely has been charged at least 8 times since the "Times Charged" counter is not incremented until the battery has been charged 100% of the way (from 0% to 100%). For example, if you charge a battery twice from 50% to 100%, the "Times Charges" counter will only be incremented by 1.

I always wondered about this, thank you for clearing it up for me...
Do you suppose its the same for all DJI Lipo packs?
I'm specifically asking about Mavic 2 (since this thread is from 2017)

Many thanks
