New dji batterys

I just got 2 New batteries for Mavic
Do I have to update them?
I have the newest download software from dji.
How do I update batteries ? If need be.

Try one, the app will say something if they need doing.
Usually any updates are minor improvements in management rather than something vital.

It's okay to do it inside too. You won't need to fly in order to update the batteries.
