The Air's "enhanced WiFi" was significantly better than the Spark's "non-enhanced WiFi" so if it's on that level that would be a big boost already !

I look forward to this as I do every DJI quad, but I feel I have to defend the original Spark as it’s been nothing but a great drone for me and I buy them all. Rugged and reliable and I gotta say, my MA’s enhanced WiFi is no better then the Spark’s plebeian WiFi. So not terrible. Hopefully this new mini isn’t as fragile as it looks at 245 grams or people will find a new thing to chastise a dji quad for...

Yep cause water hurts motors. It’s the electronic circuit board that’s the issue.but hey I understand not all can be understood in life. Was just a thought.

Actually, brushless motors are not bothered by water. In fact they will run fine under water. I have built several waterproof quads. Here is an example (not mine.)

DJI just sent me a new prototype for testing purposes. I am not at liberty to devulge any specs, but I was able to obtain this photo.

Does anyone even think this Mavic Mini rumor is legit? Some are saying it's fake, others saying it's real...

I'm going to be disappointed if it's fake, but I won't complain if it's legitimate.

Looks legit yes, would be a bit of an elaborate hoax...besides aren't the pictures from a filing with a Chinese official entity, like the stuff we sometimes get from FCC filings ?

It's not a rumor. The "Mavic Mini" model appeared in an official Japanese government document. That's where the photos came from.
