@MaximusCZ ,normally after the initial update the battery in the drone is updated ,then as you say ,further batteries when they are updated, just use the part of the update ,specific to the battery ,so you did not misremember

With the new update does it actually turn on RID, or just make it compatible eg in case you're using the extended battery? One of the reasons I like the Mini 3 Pro is it's not supposed to be subject to RID with the standard battery, correct?

The new update Turns on RID permanently Even on the Mini 3 Pro, because they cannot control if u use the heavier battery, at which time it exceeds 250gm. Per FCC, users cannot turn it off or disable RID
