New dude from Sacramento Ca.

1st drone was the Holy Stone 720, which i bought a month ago. Outgrew it pretty quickly. Just picked up the Mavic Air 2. Its a dream to fly!!! Went to the coast yesterday with the wifey, my drone was attacked by 3 seagulls. Scared me, almost lost my investment. Here to learn and become a better pilot.

Congrats on your MA2. Great machine! Yes, seagulls can be pretty aggressive. Best defense is to fly straight up, which birds cannot do. Once you're clear of them, you can fly horizontally to wherever you need to be.

Hi Jeff, Jeff here. Welcome to the Forum from your neighbor to the south (Elk Grove). So, I've always liked birds but they may not be our friends, as you have found out.
