Hi all I'm new to dji drones but a little experienced with drones overall. I pulled the trigger last night and was able to get best buy to price match an amazon deal for the fly more combo. Purchased an additional memory card and I think i'm good to go now (for now). Going to spend the time to do whatever firmware updates I need to until this weekend where i'll go out for the maiden voyage. So excited i've been lurking on this one for a while and i'm Looking forward to the great advice i'm sure i'll find on the board. I'll be scouring the internet for first timer tips and tricks today as I can't wait to get home and get going with it.

If anyone has any good advice for me and good areas in my neck of the woods please send me a message and thanks.

Sup, I'm new to the Mavic too, and the first thing I did was toying with the camera settings. I sort of got a feel with the ISO and Shutter Speed. As you fly more you will get more comfortable with the settings. It's really an amazing piece of technology.
