New Mavic Owner/Pilot

Hello all!

Joined to try and learn more as I advance my UAS skills and try to attain my Part 107 certificate.

Been flying little cheap UAV’s trying to learn and today I bought my first UAS that cost more than $100. I purchased a used Mavic Pro and now anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Once I have my Part 107 out of the way I plan to begin flying for SAR missions and Over-Watch for our police dept when serving warrants. As a police officer and Director of Emergency Management I have an inside to that field.

Thanks in advance for putting up with this newb and some of my questions.
