Yes, the CofE don't like people flying around Wells Cathedral, I've flown off to one side at a distance ?... I've seen some fly close to the front ? so little wonder they can get a bit miffed.
I've flown near Sand Bay, but even that's NT where we're not supposed to fly, although they don't control the airspace. There's quite a few apps to show where we are allowed to fly ?

Used to live in BoS and now in a village just outside. Funnily enough I flew near Sand Bay Woodspring priory area just yesterday Afternoon.
Great space and scenery although there was a fenced off area with clear off signage which came up on the app as Military area. I stayed clear but like Uphill it’s a nice spot and fairly quiet too.
Frankly there are so many area/organisations that are anti-drone I’ve decided to get up to 400ft asap to avoid being seen/heard, keep away from the public and if challenged leave quietly!
