First off, thank you all for this forum; as a newbie, I am looking forward to engagng with your posts.
Being brand new to this platform, the learning curve has been deliberately slow; and although I have been flying fixed wing for most if my life as a private pilot, the lead in to my first flight last week was proberbly longer than necessary. So far, my only concern has been muscle memory applying opposite pitch input; so I am very appreciatiative of the safety sensors! With that, my daily goal has been to fly, but land before confidence exceeds current ability. Again, looking forward to soaking up your experiences.
Cheers.

Welcome! Its a learning curve right, but not necessarily steep. I think taking it slow as you say is a wise thing to do. With each flight, you will develop the necessary skills to fly with confident without posing any danger to you, others, and to your drone.
