I thought with the current DJI and US situation this trivia may interest some. I have seen the ebay sellers and been checking several mainstream sites finally seeing this store made combo become available. It changed to back ordered until 12/31/2025 after I put mine in the cart. Seller is Adorama. They have a similar protection plan but not in price.

Looking forward to the step up from the Tello & GameSir controller. I went Tello first to see if I had the thumbs for flying and glad I did. It took a long time and my share of blunders before I could take my eyes off the drone and fly in the display. The thing is so light none of my crashes broke anything. I used the TelloFPV - Fly DJI Ryze Tello app.
Next step was the NEO & RC-N3. Really enjoyed the move up. I knew if my interest didn't fade I would donate it to a young relative.

Don't worry, I'll read the manual. I have read too many before pulling the trigger only to not buy them. No I wait until I have hands on.

I ordered a new Mini 4 Pro from B&H camera,a reputable company in NY that I've ordered non drone stuff from in the past. They were closed for The Feast of Tabernacles so I had to wait a week for it to ship. Shipped out yesterday and FedEx says I'll get it Monday.

Good choice! Currently, the Mini 4 Pro with the Mini 4 Pro regular battery is the only DJI Mini that will not broadcast RID, as DJI has finally confessed to activating RID on the Mini 5 Pro regardless of which battery is installed!

Mini 5 Pro is also no longer technically still a Mini, as it exceeds 250g even with the Mini 5 Pro standard battery, and therefore also requires pilot registration, unlike the Mini 4 Pro with the regular Mini 4 Pro battery.

Mini 4 Pro, RC2 & Standard battery arrived today. The setup went without a hitch from charging to flight. Several FW updates came in during said.
No RID was seen on the apps I tried. Thanks

Wonderful! As it should be. Too bad DJI wasn't able to do the same with the Mini 5 Pro, as originally intended! It apparently has a sweet tooth and got too fat before leaving the factory!
