New pilot and suggestions to avoid mistakes

Hello guys, i am going to be a new pilot with Mavic Air and i would like to give me some suggestions for a newbie.

What do you suggest to me? how to start being more comfortable and avoid any mistakes and bad situation?

A lot of very good suggestions, have been given. Having a pre flight check list at base. Pre flight check list in field. Takeoff procedure check list. After take off procedure check list. After landing check list.
And, Emergency procedure. I have all these procedures on my Tablet as constant reminders. Fly safe and have fun.
