Hello! I'm new to drones and have used a trainer drone to get to the point that I just got a Mavic2 Zoom! Just received it yesterday and quickly tested it out after registration and testing! Looking forward to learning from this forum and participating in any events when I can!

I'm also looking into getting any formal training and really understanding the FAA rules and regulations to fly in my area or when I travel.

You need to display the number assigned to you on the exterior of your drone where it is readable (not in the battery compartment, etc)

Also you’ll want to get LAANC clearance for your flights. I use AirMap, but here’s a link to the current approved FAA list:
