New pilot from Bellevue, NE

Just got my Mavic and it's my first drone. I have a lot to learn and hoping I'll get a lot of ideas on this forum to get the most out of the Mavic.

For me, the initial reason for purchasing it was to record my synchronized Christmas light shows of my house. Hoping I won't have to sit outside in my car for any more winters just to record the house lights (over an hour for all the different songs I play). Will be great to just send the drone out to record the shows (for as many as I can record on a single battery charge) and possibly change up the viewing angles instead of just being a fixed camera.

Anyway, I have a lot to learn before next December.
