Welcome from Chicago the Windy City. You asked about any tips? One would be to take a look at Mavic Help
and Mavic Tips. Some newbies ignore that information, until its to late. All that info is very useful in helping you gain knowledge and confidence when flying your Bird. For instance what to do if your drone does not respond to controller. Anyway, Blue Skies and safe flying to you.
