Just wondering if old one gonna be compatible as air2s got oc3 and is compatible with old sc. New controller doesn't look like some massive upgrade on outside apart of aerials old style sc. Whats your thoughts .

I think there is a good chance that it will be compatible with existing DJI drones..... with a much faster processor among other things. The stock remote for the Mavic 3 was reported to be the same as what shipped with the Air 2S so if that is true then it should be an easy path to put the Air 2/2S and Mini 2 on the new smart controller at least..... I would say even the Mavic 2, and P4 Pro V2 would be possibilities but I wouldn't bet on it.

I also wouldn't bet on anything working on the new smart controller except the Mavic 3 on release day.
