New to the Mavic, just saying what’s up

Hey everybody, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike, I’m from Connecticut and this is my first “real” drone. I have flown cheaper drones and helicopters, but nothing like this. I was looking into the Mavic Pro for a while now and when the Mavic 2 came out I took advantage of people selling their older ones and got a great deal. I have about 30 flights already and really love this thing. I look forward to learning from you guys so, thanks in advance Lol.

Years ago I attended the F1GP at Melbourne and I walked through the crowd where I stood next to another spectator about my same age. He looked at me and said “What’s up?”
At the time in Australia, when someone asks "what's up?" they are asking if there is something wrong, ie what's wrong with you etc
I thought that he had some kind of problem with me standing next to him so I said “nothing’s up, I'm fine”
Again, he said “No, what’s up?”
I then realised he was from another place where English wasn’t their first language, he was from the USA.

I soon realised that he was actually saying “hello” in his native language
