Does anyone but a complete newcomer even use this sim? and even then only for initial familiarisation?
Considering the comprehensive stability and protection systems in DJI Products it's very easy and safe to learn the limited skills needed by actually flying the Drone

Agreed. In my case I just wanted to see what it was like. There's always add/remove programs.
