Hi all, new to drones here. bought me a nice used DJI Mavic Pro with some questions so I'm glad I found this forum.
I will be moving to Arizona as soon as my house sells here, can't take this humidity, but I'll be moving to southern Arizona, in the Sierra Vista area.Welcome from Phoenix Arizona in the desert southwest where the temperature at 1:00 pm is 108.
Sierra Vista is nice, less heat and more monsoons to help cool down and at night it cools down. Wonderful mountains and if you like great fresh roasted coffee beans check out Old Bisbee Roaster in Bisbee just a bit further southeast of Sierra Vista. Copper, gold and silver mining town from the 1880’s.I will be moving to Arizona as soon as my house sells here, can't take this humidity, but I'll be moving to southern Arizona, in the Sierra Vista area.
I lived in Sierra Vista (well actually Hereford), for 2 years back in the early 2000's which is why I picked that area for the weather and hills, I have a Rubicon Jeep. I'll have to check out that coffee shop in Bisbee for sure! ThanksSierra Vista is nice, less heat and more monsoons to help cool down and at night it cools down. Lucky you, you know exactly the beautiful area you’re going to. I’d love to get out of Phoenix. We have been ordering 2 - 1 lb. bags of Seth’s wonderfully roasted coffee delivered twice a month for nearly 20 years.I lived in Sierra Vista (well actually Hereford), for 2 years back in the early 2000's which is why I picked that area for the weather and hills, I have a Rubicon Jeep. I lived in San Antonio for 9 years, was too much of a big city for me so I was glad to get out of there! But Texas is a great state.Hi! Welcome to the forum, from Hauptmann in Hurst, Texas!
Thanks! I know of one major one, they have a large sign advertising no drone zone as you go into the Kennedy Space Center area from Titusville, where I live. My plan is to fly my drone on the west side of Max Brewer bridge in Sand Point park but with all the rules, regulations and gotta do's I'm paranoid to even fly this thing. I just made a post about it in the "general" forum.Greetings from Fort Pierce. Lots of great opportunities on the Space Coast but be careful with closures from the spaceport.
I looked at D4YouFly via the Air Control app and you would be fine. That's a Brevard County park and I recall seeing No-Drone signs in those parks years ago but I think they have rescinded those. Best bet is to just call and ask: (321) 264-5037Thanks!
