My Mini 3 doesn't seem to have a Cine mode. It seems to fly as fast as it does in Normal mode. My Mavic Mini, on the other hand, exhibits a distinct difference in speed between Cine, Normal and Sport modes.
Anybody else experience this? Is there something I should be setting (besides the mode switch) on my DJI RC controller?

Your "Expo" settings have probably gotten changed. In main DJI Fly screen, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, then select Control, then select Gain & Expo Tuning, and adjust all three flight modes to your liking. Hope that helps!

Max speed, yaw rate, rate of gimbal tilt and other parameters are separately adjustable for each of the three flight modes. Have a look at the manual. It sounds like the settings have been tinkered with.

Thank you very much. I will check my settings.

Thanks! I very well could have inadvertently changed some settings.

I think the drone starts in Normal mode wherever the switch is so you need to move it from normal to Cine once started.

Found it -

Mini 3 starts in Normal mode wherever the switch is set

DJI Mini 3, including the Mini 3 Pro, starts in Normal mode when first powered on, regardless of the position of the flight mode switch on the remote controller

This is a safety feature designed to prevent accidental takeoff in Sport mode, where obstacle avoidance might be disabled or have different parameters.
However, you can then immediately switch to Sport or Cine mode using the toggle switch on the remote controller after powering on and before taking off.
