My Mavic Air refused to take panoramas yesterday, after taking some great panos just the day before. The difference was that yesterday, I tried setting the drone to Tripod Mode, thinking that might help stabilize the drone if the wind picked up. I turned off Tripod Mode, and the drone proceeded to take some great pano shots. I'm guessing that Tripod Mode interferes with the drone's ability to quickly pan and gimbal to the positions it needs to take the shots.
Bottom line: Make sure the drone isn't set to Tripod Mode.
