Confirming November 5th release of the Mini 2. I have had it confirmed by 2 sources intimate with DJI in China.

Lauren announced it last night on The Philly Drone Life show.
Does anyone know what Tec features are coming with the Mavic mini 2? I have a mini and was planning on getting a M2 zoom with smart controller, but then they banged out all these extra features along with being able to use the smart controller for the MA2 which has in my eyes has almost made the M2 zoom obsolete, so plans are up in the air at the moment, I'm waiting to see if dji will bring out a MA2 with just a smart controller options to cut costs down as I don't want 2 controllers and if the mini 2 comes with zoom and smart controller features then I might just hold out for the mini 2 instead
DJI Mini 2 supports Ocusync 2.0, 31 min flight time and 4k@30FPS but uses same camera sensor as DJI Mavic Mini as I heard. So 4k is unlocked for the new DJI Mini 2.
