They do actually. China has a big problem with Tesla cars because they think Teslas can phone home and transmit data. They cannot be freely owned or operated by just anyone anywhere in China. They are banned from certain cities and districts especially when the party is in town.Hmmm.... A remotely triggered 'kill switch' that cripples a bus or truck and renders it useless.... that is a huge worry and could cause chaos.
So why doesn't anyone turn a hair with exactly the same system built into Tesla cars? Could it be down to where the 'enemy within' 5th Column threat was built?
