just tested this yesterday:
- starting in a warning AND enhanced warning zone (overlapping): will give me the "fly with caution here" hint
- starting in an enhanced warning zone: nothing, only the message that my home point was recorded
But looking on DJI's website, for an enhanced warning zone, I should do an unlock first before flying in an enhanced warning zone? I double-checked in the DJI go 4 app on my phone AND on DJI's website: zones are exactly as stated above!
So is this normal behaviour that there is no warning when starting in an enhanced warning zone?
FYI: I'm running
- DJI Go 4 version 4.1.3 (iPhone 10.3.3)
- Firmware 01.03.0900
For the moment I'm not planning to do any update, as I have no issues with the bird (coming from Parrot Bebop, where updates most of the time caused new issues).
Also, I read somewhere that some owners were forced to upgrade until xxx - my DJI Go 4 app simply states that there is an update available. So far I successfully ignored this message.
