Normal range in a City ?

I have absolutely no clue what a stock antenna can do in a city. I live in the capital of Norway and if i literary
fly true the city at ..... 80 m i can do like 1200m with Chinese antennas and 2000m+ with ITELITE DBS range extender. I have some problems now with the ITelite range extender and maybee i have to change the internal cabels. I see people fly like 5000m, but this is in a no city enviorment.

any experience on city flying in this forum? ( range )

You have remember, that range is depended of the obstacles like buldings, because radio waves at this frequency (mavic original frequency) is the type of microwaves. So the waves are traveling in straight lines primarily.

I live int the Suburbs. Houses, business, cell towers, power lines, etc. I can get out a little over a mile before I start getting a very weak signal.
