NP in WA Grrrrr

I am sick of NP here in WA, I went into one and after travelling 15 klms into the park I see a notice that banned drones, now in my opinion that sign should have been at the point of payment not 15 klms inside the park, I was so annoyed I took a picture of my yellow sign beside the NP's one.

Agreed, the sign should be at the entrance, but the problem is not just in WA. It is in all US national parks. There may be exceptions but does not seem likely.

You should be aware that drones are banned in ALL national parks in WA. You can apply to the rangers but it will take weeks.

You can apply for a permit to operate drones in WA Parks at a DPAW office. Not sure of wait times but was told this by a Senior DPAW Officer
