Has anyone tried the "new"ish firmware with the latest DJI4 GO app?
I haven't updated the firmware as I read many comments on here that causes the app to crash.

I've got the latest firmware and Go 4 app installed. No problems here. Using iPad Air 2 with 4G LTE.

oops, sorry, i meant the android firmware of Shield, and the DJI4 GO app, not the actual drone.

Oh gotcha, I'm an Android guy too, used to use Samsung pro tablets. The Nougat operating system is what caused me to get an iPad just for my drones. I experienced a lot of connection issues.

Latest firmwares for Mavic, latest Dji go4, Android 7 and latest software for Shield K1...... I have "0", yes "zero" problem flying Mavic Pro with Glyph and using hdmi connection from K1.
