NYPD to operate aerial surveillance Labor Day Weekend...

[Droning on and on...]

...via drones for "large gatherings". This is being done for Public Safety. According to the Adams Administration large gatherings at private residences will be included.

Public events, and Public places like parks okay, and probably a good thing even though I don't like it (rubs the libertarian in me the wrong way).

Private residences? NO WAY!!! The Police State encroaches again. This seems like it crosses the "unreasonable search and seizure" line by quite a distance, in this American's view.

Also, since I would be breaking the law doing that (surveilling private BBQs), aren't they?
