under safety and on the app i did not get this at all on 1.6.6 update??

I think it means that when your drone comes up to a tree or trees and you have the obstacle avoidance switched on you can select either your drone just braking and hovering or your drone bypassing the trees by going over them or around them. The third option is to turn the obstacle avoidance system off.

This was a firmware update that was already pulled. Some people got it just because of their timing before DJI took it down.
