Obstacle avoidance

Does the mavic prohibit from yaw right/left when it detects obstacle? I could only go up,down or backwards. Also has anyone experienced no stick control. It just hovered until I hit land. Maybe I need to do some more reading.

Sensors are for forward and down.

What fw are you on? The latest one supposed to fix the non responding stick problem

So far, I haven't had that problem. I flew in my living room and whenever it detected an obstacle, it just stopped...but I was able to yaw left/right, even with other obstacles to the right and left of Mavic. I could still rotate 360 degrees.
