'Off board' photos

Hi all! As a budding amateur photographer, I obviously see the MP as an incredible photographic tool. But, I also like the challenge of photographing the beast itself! So I set myself a challenge, use a shallow DOF AND a slow shutter speed at the same time.
Shot with my Nikon D7100, utilising a Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM, and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AF-D.

Awesome pics! FYI, I've heard keeping that dome camera protector on during flight may cause overheating. I'm sure someone can share their insight as well.

I'll certainly be removing it more, as I get more confident with landings etc. In fact, it renders the on board camera pretty much useless anyway...
