DJI "Mu-ha-ha! Arise and take their money!"

DJI won't sleep on the competition it seems. The unveiling of their new craft should be exciting if it's anything like Mavic's debut. I would hope that the camera is better out of the box; anticipate more flight time; dedicated controller (app/phone independent); and advance obstacle avoidance.

This could be marketed as the Mavic for professional photos and video.

I wonder if this craft is weather resistant?

Lots of Mavic may go on sale after Autel Evo and DJI's new craft announcements.

Could be a new Mavic. Could be a new drone all together. It's pretty obvious whatever product it is, it has folding legs.

Thank you, Anthony. I posted a video predicting the "Mavic Air" being released January 23 a couple days ago (on youtube) and was met with unbelief. Now we have official confirmation of the event. You can check out my video here:

Would like to know where they (DJI) are having the event...I have clients in NYC and could use that as an excuse for going.

Just my thought, they are saying lighter and faster. So maybe the Mavic Air could be a FPV Racer ? Not long to wait until the 23 rd.

I don't want a smaller drone then Mavic. A smaller and lighter drone will lose the battle with the wind!!!

It could be another Mavic, between the pro/platinum model and the Spark. Infact our Mavic is called "pro", this would be "non pro".
And with the useless Platinum (for those who already own the older model) few months ago they can't present the real new Maci Pro....impossible for me
