I think my splitter is my problem. All battery are down in the teen's but one protek that one was like 44% so I'm going to redo my splitter and see if I do better.
This is how I built my splitter, Just be very careful and plug into batteries first then to mavic so they don't arc.

Safety First! Use a spare xt60 plug to wrangle a set of the battery wires while you plug in the first battery. Then pull one wire at a time out of the spare and plug into the second battery. It's just a matter of plugging into the Mavic after that.

I run 16ga battery wires with xt30s hardwired straight to the esc board. Get the copper strands as close as possible to the board.

Splitters keep short and compact and shouldn't weigh more than a 3rd direct battery mod.

Most batteries have quite a bit of extra solder on the tabs. Take it all off and use a smaller gauge wire. Fan the wire and stick it on with just enough.

I also shorten the balance leads and use extensions when charging. Every gram counts!

Verification that the distance limit comes from the RC. Picture taken flying RC only.

@beanbubba is there any way to delay the signal so the aircraft thinks the RC is far away?
18km?nice flight

Cybernate,

Could you post your signal errors for one of your long flights I would love to see how high these get. From your air data log

Thanks

Phxbird57,

Could you do the same from one of your long flights ? Post a signal error from air data ? I know your not flying over saltwater

Mark, I purchased a three pack of these xt60 Y connectors on Amazon for 9 dollars. They weigh 11g, haven’t had an opportunity to test.
