Yes, I will try your mounting technique next using gaffers tape to mount underneath. Going to be tough to beat his new record today. He added a couple thousand feet over yesterday's run.

He's not the chatting type. Just likes flying. Nothing wrong with that.oh, I wasn't aware he even did a run yesterday that was significant, or that he even had been trying with the mavic lately! With all due respect to some of the great flyers out there, its kinda annoying that you dont get their feedback and input throughout the weeks and months until they want to post their new record. Its all fair game and totally their business , but funny that they cant be bothered to share until its a new record to post[emoji41]
Hi everyone. I'm a newb to this and would like to have my distance record in on your record board. What's the protocol for doing so

Thanks. [emoji106]
I wanted to minimize radio interference so I drove for almost 2 hours on a Florida Interstate to get to a remote rest stop. The nice straight highway was no accident either, I wanted to have the large highway shoulder at my disposal in case I needed to do an emergency landing. With exception of the 5 knot crosswind, Flight conditions were almost ideal.

Impressive
24.5 minutes flight time( I cant get past 20 or 21mins)
what was your cruising speed?
Good info,Thanks [emoji106]
22.2 mph
I use tap to fly to go the distance (and hopefully fly more efficiently). Tap to fly cruises at a max speed of 22.2mph. As soon as I reach my max distance I jam the 'Return to Home' button (again, hopefully to fly more efficiently). On return to home I also cruise at 22.2mph. I fly there and back at about 350 feet
I know this is a totally off the wall question but where are you getting the yellow thumbsup? The only one I see is the black oneThanks [emoji106]

Near perfect flight conditions today. This is the limit with this setup! 1% left! Single 4000mah LIHV on the roof. @JakeMaxxUAV
