Hi everyone
I need tips and tricks to maximize my range on a stock Mavic pro. Specifically on how to maximize battery life. Are there any features I should turn off in the settings (i.e. Obstacle avoidance etc)

For me, wind is the biggest factor. No sport mode and a lightly used, well cared for battery.
Practice Playing the wind, and following your time and battery.
Get it some runs whiles tracking the wind,(head winds tail wind,side wind).Track your Flight Time,Remaining time Battery & MPH in different winds,If you do all that you'll figure out how much time you have left with a 10mph.RTH headwind or tailwind
Line of site a must
I dont know if it helps but i leave my front LEDS off,and usually dont video record

That is not a mavic! Does not count.Seems we have some catching up to do!
And don't run your batteries down to 1% or even 0 like most here..this will minimize your battery life

Oh...or buy the mavic pro "platinum" version for a 30 min endurance (love those props).
from what I've read it's the props that give it the extra 3 minutes
havent heard when they will be available.
$10 a pair I'll give it a shot,even if it just reduces the sound a little

I do see less sound as problematic since a lot of the mentally challenged drone hating cave people already think we are targeting them as spying material.. but can't resist those props, they are so nice...they are so......so...........precioussss!

I'm skeptical about these props. Seems like good marketing more than technical innovation.
Noise is around 85db for hover, minus 4db is really not going to be noticeable. Not sure how they came to 60% less. I guess that's what happens when the marketing team does the math.
Notice how they say during take off and landing too... Maybe the ESC's have a role to play but I'm still skeptical.
Say they sell half the Mavic owners these new props. 50,000 x £20 = £1 million - costs of £200,000 = £800k pay day. I know this is a crude, rough working out but you get the idea.
If I'm wrong and people do see the benefits, I'll eat my hat buy a set

The screenshot shows a distance of 26,134. Your total flight distance is 26,233 ft. The total flight distance is the total distance flown, not the furthest point from home.

Those are some good leaderboard there guys! Two over 50k and the Top 9 modded are all 40k club and Gh0stxSinghx is *that* close to 40k. And, all of the stock 20 have bested my pr for stock, we got some good pilots here! I sold my modded mavic yesterday with the 2x3000s, gonna have to mod the other Mavic and convert the 4s 8k to 3s and get back in the game.
