OK, I do my distance flights in GPS and ATT mode that’s why I never see the power output percentage.

I'd love to see a patch that shows power % all the time.

Lolo, you can simply start the motors with the switch in Sport position. By default, Mavic will start in Normal mode. Then you can fly in Normal mode with power % shown on the “radar” view. Simply flick the switch back and forth if you want to be in (real) Sport mode.

If you have re-assign the Sport switch for Manual, then you will need to change the default motor start up to Manual and assign the Sport switch back to Sport. However, I am not sure if the Mavic will immediately take off under Manual mode as I haven’t tried it myself.

Tested my MP this morning from the ATKV Resort in the Northern Drakensberg region South Africa with this results.

Finally made it to the stock leader board! I have been trying to do this for months. Wind conditions had to be just right. Still had slight headwind coming back.

22,278 ft out or 8.5 miles round trip puts me 16th on Leaderboard. I'll take it!

- Completely stock from box
- Followed power lines to avoid people
- Moderate interference area mostly from neighborhood wifi or possibly power substations.
- Mostly flat landscape
- Using battery with 58 charges.

Testing the FCC-mod on my Mavic Pro. Reached 5446meter before battery smart RTH kicked in.
I also used a parabolic antenna reflector. Very happy with the range and signal!

All stock on my MP with only parabolic antenna reflector. Done the other day with no wind so was absolutely perfect conditions. Got a out distance of 24,130 feet(4.57 miles) and total feet 51,762(9.8 miles round trip).
Very little interference
Used battery with 20 charges up to this run

Hello everyone! Im new here from Wisconsin. I bought a brand new DJI Mavic Pro on 4-29-18. Its completely stock. I dont use any signal boosters. Having a great time flying it.

The image below is my most recent long distance flight (5-6-18) Over 3.8 (20,234 feet) miles from where i was standing.

Im so amazed at how well this drone flies and the technology packed inside it.

Total flight distance was 40,872 feet.

And remember it is not total flight distance but just out distance that gets you on the list.

I manage to get out to 17500 today. Had 15 % battery leftover so maybe more next time. Had the titan whips on not boosted

here my range test - 15+15 km on mavic pro:

Mavic has battery mod - 3 mavic battery at the same time and antenna mod - 17 elements Yagi on 2.4 GHz band connected to RC.
