More grey market Mavic 4 Pros (Creator Combo) to sell as of 7/1/25. Friends in the USA, please educate yourself before falling into this potential trap.

They're taking orders, not selling products from stock. This is shown for each Mavic 4 Pro package.

What makes this a grey market activity? Is there something illicit about it? And what's the trap you're warning people about?

Before you go throwing rocks at Adorama, perhaps you should educate yourself.
BTW, It's GRAY market, not "grey" market.
There is nothing illicit or illegal or sketchy about gray market products being sold in the U.S. by reputable merchants like Adorama and B&H when the manufacturer has decided not to sell them in the U.S.. The stock is acquired from other countries by Adorama and being sold with a 1 year DJI Limited Warranty, facilitated by DJI USA, which is sourcing the necessary refurbished units from DJI Canada, for warranty and repair replacements, entirely at their expense (after the customer pays the repair invoice, if not a warranty repair, which is completely free).

They are selling with tacit approval from DJI so call it what you want. B&H is my favorite but Adorama is doing a bang up job IMO by coming thru for Americans during trying times. Won't be forgotten. :)
"Tacit" approval? You mean they aren't stopping them it's okay. Sure. No Care Refresh so I'll call it grey market, just like everything else that is sold in the US that was meant for the international market.

You tried very hard to come across as "more" intelligent but your arrogant narcissism failed you. Since you mentioned the Limited Warranty, here you go:

The trap would be spending $5000 on a drone that you don't realize doesn't have a standard DJI warranty nor DJI Care. As for grey market, it a common term for items, and I see it a lot in electronics/cameras... For example, A seller gets an item in another country (Canada), then turns around and sells it in the USA where it wasn't supposed to be sold. Rarely does the manufacturer support this. If you go to Amazon and see an item listed as an "International Version" that's one.

I've seen it before, if I find a post that show Adorama is still selling DJI Care Refresh would you believe it? They are on closeout which probably means all remaining codes on hand are honored until supplies last and then they are gone: https://www.adorama.com/l/?searchinfo=dji care refresh

I don't think you have read many of the previous posts and therefore you're just jumping right in the fray so understandable you may not be working with full information. DJI said DJI.com will not sell drones and services to the US. They did not forbid anyone else to sell it, they are not blocking anyone from selling it, but obviously if you are a US reseller who gets their equipment from DJI then it's not going to be easy. DJI has never officially announced the M4P won't fly in America and they are definitely not turning their backs on the few M4P drones in America.

There are no international versions of DJI drones; all drones are the same. This is not the cut-throat dishonest camera and lens world from the 1980s. My guess is this is why there's no problem with selling ("some" not "all") DJI drones across different regions but obviously this does not count for DJI Care Refresh. DJI has stopped selling Care and renewals to all drones in the US whether it's during the setup process or DJI.com but they haven't prevented resellers from generating and selling codes. Also it doesn't appear that DJI has cancelled any existing Care coverage but it's doubtful if not impossible to get meaningful service (it's risky).

We have proof that drones sold by Adorama has DJI manufacturers warranty which is confirmed on DJI.com, would you like to see that, too? All non-counterfeit DJI drones have a warranty from somewhere, it just might not be from a place you can live with.

The government is clearly going after DJI and by default, that an attack on the drone community. What I don't understand is why the drone community is turning on itself.

I don't want to be "that guy" but the world now accepts it either way.
Conceded.
  • American English: "Gray" is the preferred spelling.

  • British English: "Grey" is the more common spelling.

  • Other English-speaking regions: "Grey" is also commonly used in countries like Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Since you mentioned the Limited Warranty, here you go:
The Limited Warranty is ONLY warranty anyone purchasing a DJI product ever gets. There is no unlimited warranty.

So, anyone purchasing from Adorama still has the same DJI warranty they have always had from DJI, facilitated by DJI USA. All Adorama serial numbers are properly registered with DJI USA for warranty service.

Wrong.
It has the same standard DJI 1 year warranty, also known as the DJI Limited Warranty.
It is facilitated by DJI USA.
Call them and they will confirm.

Whatever you do, don’t expect to get your money returned, your broken drone, nor a warranty replacement one if they send it from outside of the USA for repairs or replacement. Look what has been happening to Eric, our member TheGroove, with his M4P:

You used far too many words to end up going nowhere. As I have already posted the WARRANTY, I'll leave you with this...
