I'd like to lend my brother, my mavic mini. Could he fly it after downloading the fly app to his i- phone. I have a samsung A5. Or will he have to register an account, with dji? Probably been answered before but I would like to allow him the experience. He has Go Pro Karma and feels restricted.

Yes he can, DJI Fly on a new install will ask for the DJI account details, he could just use yours without creating a new one
