So after everything I've gone through trying to get my gimbal fixed, I was told by DJI to take it to Best Buy for exchange.

Pardon my French but, uppity lil b**** came out, and said "show me your purchase number" I did, and said the gimbal was malfunctioning. She said, be right back...

3 minutes later she comes out, gives me a receipt, and starts walking away. I said, so the exchange will come to my house?

"Nope! You said return" she said, as she walked back inside.

My experience with Best Buy, for this drone specifically, has been a nightmare from the get go. Otherwise I love Best Buy.

I have ordered another one from DJI directly (fastest shipping times), but if this one has issues, I'll just be returning it for a M2Z.

Any one have any input? A better place to order? More cases of the same?
My YouTube videos from other thread have comments about it happening to other people.

Hope everybody is staying safe and enjoying their new MA2

I have been following your saga and posted a few thoughts to one of your threads. It really is a bummer when you so look forward to getting something only to find out that it's defective upon arrival, and this fact is only compounded by all the happy YouTubers and folks posting to forums about how much they love it. So, yeah...

I have always ordered directly from DJI. Never had an issue. I ordered the M2A FMC and a few accessories on 5/10, and it's slated to arrive this Tuesday. The one issue that seems to be 'on the radar' right now is folks having trouble activating their drone. When attempting to do so, they are met with an error, and until activated, the device will not fly. I suspect this is a DJI server issue, and I would imagine they are doing their best to fix it.

Also, if it's any consolation, I think the chances of your getting another copter with a faulty gimbal would be statistically very low...Thumbswayup

9 days... That not too bad I suppose. Although their website right now says "ships 1-3 after payment confirmation" so 9 is pushing that edge.

I just don't even know what to do.

I could have ordered through dronenerds but they are out of stock at the moment.

It seems like the only place to actually have them, in stock, is of course, DJI.

You are exactly right, I pre-ordered, watch YouTube videos almost every day leading up to getting mine... Got it up in the air, and nope, nevermind, gotta go back.

Im seriously debating whether or not to just cancel everything and let the bugs work out, or save a little longer.

The MA2 is absolutely perfect though. Under 1k, Ocusync 2.0, D-cinelike... Among other things. (Some improvable areas, sure)
