After a couple of weeks now with the Osmo Pocket, it's my opinion that the Motion Lapse function is where it really shines. I can see why some folks become addicted to creating them. It's very relaxing really..

Looks like fun. I've pretty much decided that my next purchase will be the Osmo. Not sure which one.

For me, buying the Osmo Pocket was somewhat of an impulse purchase. I had an immediate need/use for an action cam, and it came to mind.

As such, I never really watched any reviews or comparisons between the different Osmo cameras or GoPros, and the little gimbal was something that interested me.

As I mention above, the Motion Lapse feature is really where the Pocket stands out. That, and its small size. I connect it wirelessly to my phone, and via the app, I set waypoints for the camera to follow during whatever length motion lapse I wish to record. This was one hour long with a pic taken every 2 seconds.

If you do go with the Pocket, be sure to also consider DJI's accessory kit. It comes with the attachment necessary to connect it wirelessly to your device (Bluetooth/WiFi), and it's a small craddle with a wide base that is perfect for standing it up somewhere and letting it do its thing.
