Owned a Mavic Pro2 and this is my first Air 3- Anything new things/tutorials I should use?

Hi,

I have a Mavic Pro2 and just bought a Mavic Air3. Any new things I can do with the AIr 3 that I couldn't do with the Mavic Pro 2?

Any tutorials or guides would be great. I have been flying the Mavic Pro 2 for about 2 years.

Your best starting point is read the manuals for both drones and certainly the manual for the air 3.

That's an alarming thing for them to say.
If they don't cover ever single thing in the manual then, given the number of ambulance chasing ....... in the USA, I wonder if they are leaving themselves wide open to .............. ?

I upgraded from the Mavic 2 Pro to the Air 3 as well. Love the 3x zoom option. You can also use the 3x zoom to do 360 panos which takes a while to capture but produces a very high resolution 360 photo. Flight time is way longer than the Mavic 2 Pro which is great as well. Enjoy!

Doesn't the Air 3 take vertical photos too, while the Mavic 2 doesn't?

The Mavic 2 uses DJI Go4 software, while the Air 3 uses DJI Fly.

But I'm sure the Air 3 users here will have plenty more differences.

Nope. Only the mini 3/4.

It's also worth noting, that if you bought the bundle that includes the RC2 controller, you have to watch some videos dedicated to the controller alone, in addition to air 3 drones. Most of the drone videos somewhat gloss over the controller. And the controller is loaded with so many features it deserves a course of study all it's own. It is after all half of the equation...

I hope that is in conjunction with reading and refering to the drone's manual, unfortunately not all youtubes are good ones, there are some right 'plonkers' out there. Del boy was great lol.

I've been picking away at it. For me there is more context to the manual, after seeing some videos, because I'm so new to this.

Yep that might be true, I recollect missing the significance of words and phrases when a newbie and still do when looking at a new topic/behaviour.
