Just came in from running down one battery in 20 mph winds (low and slow ). Now I feel better!

We had a 2 mph wind today and had to best time practicing figure 8's, drone is amazing in it's element!

Windy here in IOWA too. Just remember... fly your missions "upwind". If there is too much wind, there is a better chance of getting the mini down near the launch site and not having a fly away. Also get as low as possible when coming home ( manually ), as wind speeds are faster the higher you are. Safe flying!!!

Observe the tallest trees around. The upper branches will tell you if its safe to fly in that area.

Flags are another good indicator.

I haven't flown for about six weeks. It's a nice sunny day here in Yorkshire, and UAV forecast says 'safe to fly' - but, I've just walked the dogs, and it definitely isn't. The gusts are pretty strong.

IMO, UAV Forecast is good to use but never depend on it completely. I depend on my landing pad - If it is trying to blow away even a little bit, I don't fly. Been staying safe that way for two years!...
