Woohoo! That was a goal I set for myself: pass the test before the end of summer. Made it!

Congrats! Which study resources did you use?

Congrats! How was it? Heard they changed up the test a little.

Thanks.

I felt it was valid and tested areas that should be tested for remote pilots.

I downloaded all of the PDF resources on the faa uas page and took the free online course from the faa. I also used the practice tests at FAA Part 107 Drone Exam Practice Tests - Page 1 | 3DR

I put in quite a few hours of reading the material and doing the practice tests. The prep was worth it as I didn't want to spend $150 and fail!

EDIT: The free FAA course is here: https://www.faasafety.gov/gslac/ALC/course_catalog.aspx - click on "Wings Courses" and then scroll down to Part 107 small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) and enroll. This was admittedly pretty dry, but helpful.

This: https://www.faa.gov/regulations_pol...s/aviation/media/remote_pilot_study_guide.pdf is the study guide I used from the FAA. Again, pretty dry, but very valuable. Here's the rest of the stuff that goes with it: Becoming a Pilot
