phone hot spot.

i am waiting for my mavic 2 pro with smart controller to be delivered. can i use my phone as a wifi hot spot so i can have maps any where i go? this my sound like a stupid question but im very new to the mavic. thanks for any help you have

Yes, but you can also cache your maps before you fly ......

I Use a Smart Controller and Hot spot on my (Android) S10+ every time I fly. I Fly in areas I use Unlock zones in and require internet to get the authorization.

I always use the hot spot for my Smart Controller. It works well.
