Hi guys, I am trying a bit the drone thing, (i got recently the mini ) and I might venture eventually into the zoom.

I was wondering something.
Being an ex rc heli flyer, and knowing how those guys build their own drones ,

is there any way to fly the dji products with a rc helicopter transmitter like other drones ?

Some of the new ones out there offer an lcd screen ,( I know it's not the same) but it's just a thought.
Even if we had to add an external monitor.

It's too bad as already own one, it would be nice to be able to fly with those instead of the small ones that come with the package. Matter of preference of course..

Just a thought.

For the M2 Pro & Zoom, as well as the new Air2, DJI uses a proprietary two way comm system called OCUSYNC which uses both 2.4 & 5.8 GHz, using which is best. It would be exceeding impractical and difficult to modify your existing RC equipment to be compatible. Maybe not impossible. but you'd have to be nuts or nearly so.
