Pre-order and Shipping Times - Who Will Get the Mavic First?

I've called apple 3 times and can't get into the actual store and they say Jan 5 8is when it's available I asked multiple times to be transferred to the physical location and no luck 30 miles to an apple store
 
People bought them. They're gone, but a few stores had a very small number.

Be skeptical all you want, it is what it is.
 
Wao, surprise, DJI doesnt start his own live event in time... Just like our Mavics orders
 
Un-f-ing-believable... DJI has fully prepaid direct orders over six weeks old and they are shipping to retail stores before servicing those orders? I can't believe anyone would ever be foolish enough to order anything from DJI Direct in the future.

I found there was 1 apple store near me that had stock, i placed an order for pickup this morning. I called to make sure it wasnt a glitch, they said they have it and already have set it aside for me. I got text and an email stating it was ready for pickup. Im going to pick it up in a little bit. I also had orders at best buy, dji, and newegg. Thankfully I can cancel them tonight.
