Presidential restricted air space

Try turning the drone on at your hotel room. Connect the controller to the hotel wifi. Log in to your DJI account on the controller. Then connect to your drone. Then turn the drone off. Then turn the controller off. Then turn the controller on, turn off wifi on the controller. Then turn the drone on. The controller should connect. Enjoy!

You controller can connect to the drone without any wi-fi whatsoever, regardless of where you are. You must log into your DJI account on your controller via wi-fi (or other Internet connection) occasionally. You won't be able to connect the controller to the drone until you do. That time has come to log into your DJI account. You'll need to do that with an Internet connection. Once you've done that you can then connect the controller and fly again.

This has nothing to do with where you are. You'd see the same issue if you were at home in California, until you once again log into your DJI account with your controller connected to the Internet.

I have flown in many different states (Fl, SC, GA, VA, NC, WA) and never had an issue with the drone connecting to the controller.
Dittto!

Jupiter is within 30 miles of Mar-A-Lago. Isn’t the airspace restricted when the President is in town?
I know many commuter type airplanes have to come to Stuart for customs when he is in Palm Beach
